Meet the Team
The team at Dashwood Out of School Club is made up of four members of staff, who are friendly and welcoming. Each member of the team have been through a DBS check, and hold relevant and up to date certificates for first aid, food hygiene and safeguarding training.

Dawn Cothier
Club manager/owner

Dawn has run the after School Club since it opened in January 1999 and she loves her job immensely, hence the decision to take over the business as her own in 2008.

Dawn has 4 grown up children and is 'Nana' to 3 gorgeous Gransons and 2 beautiful Grandaughters. Despite now being older she seems to have forgotten to grow up and loves to be involved in the children's play.

Dawn lives with Martin, her partner  of 30+ years and the youngest of her children, Sammi, along with Dolly the dog, Betty-Spaghetti and Bailey the cats.

Sammi Cothier

Supervisor

Sammi is Dawn's youngest daughter, and has been a part of Dashwood since she was a child. Sammi is now a supervisor within the setting, and has recently achieved her level three qualification in playwork. Well done Sammi!

Whilst at club Sammi enjoys spending time in the home-corner where the children often give her a make over using our hairdresser set.

In her spare time Sammi enjoys bowling, photography, socializing with friends and dying her hair bright colours.
Luke Green
Playworker

Luke has been at Dashwood since the beginning of 2014. He started as an apprentice   doing a Level 2 Playworker course. He is now a qualified Playworker and has recently started his Level 3 Playworker course. Luke picks up the children from Dashwood School.

He enjoys playing football and basketball with the children in the garden and also going on trips during the summer holidays which is part of our holiday play scheme.

During his free time Luke enjoys Ten Pin Bowling, listening to music and doing photography. He has a pet dog called Misty and a younger brother.
